PATHOGENESIS OF RECURRENT HERPES-SIMPLEX INFECTIONS

[摘要] Theories on recurrent human herpes simplex infections are presented. Clinical characteristics, factors determining the location of the recurrent infections, events precipitating the recurrence, viral location during quiescent periods and the role of immunologic surveillance in precipitation and healing of recurrent herpes are discussed.
