THE EFFECT OF ORAL VITAMIN-A ON THE NUMBER OF KERATIN CELLS OF HUMAN EPIDERMIS

[摘要] Oral administration of 150,000 units of vitamin A daily for one month decreased epidermal keratin cell counts significantly in 9 out of 10 normal volunteers. One month after discontinuation of therapy a variable pattern was found, ranging from slight additional depression to values far exceeding the control counts.
