CELL MATURATION AND TISSUE ORGANIZATION IN EPITHELIAL OUTGROWTHS FROM SKIN AND BUCCAL MUCOSA IN VITRO
[摘要] -Epithelial outgrowths from human adult skin and buccal mucosa in vitro, in the absence of underlying connective tissue, form multilayered sheets and tubules which have a consistent pattern of organization. This behavior seems due to an orientation determined by the attachment of immature basal cells to a variety of substrates. Cells which maintain attachment to substrate continue to proliferate while those which move away from the attachment surface mature in a fashion similar to that seen in vivo.
