STUDIES ON CAPILLARY PERMEABILITY USING COOMASSIE BLUE AS INDICATOR

[摘要] A new (monazo dye) mono azo, Coomassie blue, was used to demonstrate the leakage of plasma proteins from the capillaries after standardized trauma induced by intradermal injections of varying amounts of histamine, histamine release substances, serotonin and trypsin. The influence of iontophoretic applications of antihistaminic drugs, of histamine releasing substances and of histamine itself on the degree of plasma protein extravasation was measured and the effect of systemic therapy with antihistaminic and other drugs on the intensity of bluing was evaluated.
