DECREASE OF URINARY CORTICOSTEROIDS FOLLOWING APPLICATION OF FLUOCINOLONE ACETONIDE UNDER AN OCCLUSIVE DRESSING

[摘要] Significant percutaneous absorption of physiologically active drug is shown with fluocinolone acetonide application over large body areas with an occlusive dressing in 2 patients with extensive psoriasis, with repeated confirmation in each patient. These preliminary data suggest that the same precaution should be exercised in the use of this therapeutic modality that would be used in the administration of corticosteroids by oral or parenteral routes.
