Does a History of Eczema Predict a Future Basal Cell Carcinoma?

[摘要] Dyer et al. (this issue) assess the risk of new basal cell carcinoma (BCC) in the Veterans Affairs topical tretinoin chemoprevention trial, which included individuals with a history of at least two prior keratinocyte carcinomas. In addition to known risk factors for a future BCC, such as number of prior BCCs, a history of eczema and lower education levels were also associated with greater risk.
