PERCUTANEOUS ABSORPTION - PERSONAL VIEW
[摘要] The control of cutaneous biology by topical medication is discussed by considering biologic functions of human skin and drugs which influence these functions. The topics presented include anticholinergics, sweating and hyperhidrosis; topical control of pigmentation; collagen metabolism and conditions such as scars, keloids and scleroderma; the topical control of epidermal cell reproduction in regard to psoriasis, actinic keratoses and cutaneous malignancy. Subaceous gland function and hair growth are also considered, and some comments are made on the use of laboratory animals (e.g., hairless mice) for in vivo and in vitro percutaneous penetration studies.
