THE EFFECT OF MITOTIC POISONS ON HAIR GROWTH IN MICE

[摘要] Of 13 mitotic poisons tested for their capacity to cause hair loss in mice, colchicine, triethylene melamine and 4,5-diamino-l-(p-chlorophenyl)-l,2-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-s-triazine hydrochloride, produced reversible hair loss at certain concns. when injected intradermally. Other routes of admn. of the drugs were not as effective in causing deplila-tion. The depilatory effect was brought about by inhibition of cellular multiplication in the hair bulb.
