ON DIFFUSION OF TRITIATED WATER THROUGH SKIN

[摘要] This is a letter to the editor commenting the use of the term diffusion in a paper by Downes, Sweeney, and Matolsty in J. Invest. Dermatol. 49:230, 1967. The thesis of the letter is that, although useful information can be obtained from the measurement of tritiated water diffusion across the skin, the method described by Downes et al will not provide information on the true rate of water loss through the skin.
