CLEARANCE OF NAI131 FROM NORMAL AND EDEMATOUS SKIN

[摘要] Clearance of intra-cutaneously injected NaI131 is faster from edematous than from normal skin. This finding indicates that physiologic regulation is able to compensate for greatly reduced transendothelial hydraulic and osmotic gradients and maintain an undiminished nutritional exchange.
