STUDIES ON THE CHEMISTRY OF HUMAN PERSPIRATION WITH ESPECIAL REFERENCE TO ITS LACTIC ACID CONTENT
[摘要] The H-ion concn. and lactic acid content of eccrine sweat are greater in men than in women. The apocrine and eccrine sweat normally contains between 247 and 336% of lactic acid. Apocrine sweat contains more ammonia than eccrine sweat. Ion exchange resins can take up lactic acid, urea and ammonia; these resins may be useful to bind or clear the sweat of normal products with offensive odor.
