EFFECT OF ORAL STEROID ON NON-INFLAMMATORY SCALP RINGWORM

[摘要] Clearance in 6 weeks was obtained in an 8-year-old boy, and improvement in 8 subsequent patients. The dose of prednisone was 5 mg 4 times daily. The number of broken-off fluorescent hairs decreased, and a change from emerald green to grayish-white was observed. This is a preliminary report.
