EXPERIMENTAL ASPECTS OF PENICILLIN SENSITIZATION .2. WITH REFERENCE TO THE SCHULTZ-DALE PHENOMENON

[摘要] Guinea pigs may be sensitized anaphylactically to commercial Na penicillin by a single intradermal injn., and to crystalline Na penicillin by a single intradermal or 4 daily intraperit. injns. Anaphylactic sensitization to crystalline Na penicillin G may be induced in the guinea pig by infection of the skin with Trichophyton gypseum. Evidence of an antigen common to penicillin and to T. gypseum was demonstrated by the Schultz-Dale test on the sensitized uterine muscle of the guinea pig.
