ACTIVE IMMUNIZATION AGAINST TRICHOPHYTON PURPUREUM INFECTION IN RABBITS

[摘要] Percutaneous applications of suspensions of T. purpureum to areas of shaved and scarified skin of rabbits produces a chronic infection persisting for varying periods up to 2 yrs. Animals could be completely immunized by injn. of emulsified fungus. It is suggested that antisera of therapeutic value may be obtained.
