RELATIONSHIP OF SKIN COLOR TO ZYGOSITY IN TWINS

[摘要] A method of objective measurement of skin color in human subjects is described. Comparison of measurements in monozygous and dizygous twin groups reveals a close correlation between similarity of skin color and degree of genetic identity. The potential application of this method in future twin studies is indicated.
