STUDIES ON THE LIFE CYCLE OF SPIROCHETES .8. SUMMARY AND COMPARISON OF OBSERVATIONS ON VARIOUS ORGANISMS

[摘要] The life cycle of spirochetes is described with the aid of phase-microscope plates. The observations, especially on the formation of unispirochetal and multispirochetal cysts, indicate that the spirochetes may form a separate group of microorganisms distinct from the bacteria as well as the protozoa.
