MECHANISMS OF ECCRINE ANIDROSIS .2. ANTIPERSPIRANT EFFECT OF ALUMINUM SALTS

[摘要] Experimental maneuvers, Scotch Tape stripping, methylene blue iontophoresis and histologic observations indicated that the anidrosis established by the 18 hr. occlusive application of 20% AlCl3 to the forearm could not be attributed to an interference with the formation or surface delivery of sweat. Al salts may increase the permeability of the duct resulting in complete dermal resorption of the sweat.
