THE INNERVATION OF HUMAN EPIDERMIS

[摘要] The morphology of free nerve endings in human epidermis is described. The density of intra-epidermal innervation at a number of representative cutaneous sites is reported. These intra-epidermal nerve endings are shown to have a sensory function.
