THE EFFECT OF HIGH AND LOW SALT INTAKE AND REPEATED EPISODES OF SWEATING ON THE HUMAN ECCRINE SWEAT GLAND
[摘要] The effects of repeated episodes of profuse sweating on the human eccrine sweat gland differ markedly in salt-depleted and salt-loaded subjects. Salt-depletion per se results in changes in both the secretory coil and duct even before the first episode of sweating. The possible relationships of these findings to the process of acclimatization has been discussed.
