TISSUE EDEMA - A STIMULUS OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE REGENERATION
[摘要] Increased tissue water is a physiological stimulus which causes mast cells to discharge their granules. These intracellular particles escape into the extracellular fluid and these same granules contain a water-binding acid mucopolysaccharide. The combination of this polysacchride with water causes a mucinous gel of connective tissue ground substance.
