ABSENCE OF KERATIONLYTIC ACTIVITY IN 3 STRAINS OF CANDIDA ALBICANS

[摘要] Evidence is presented that 3 strains of C. albicans are not able to release significantly greater amounts of soluble sulfhydryl containing compounds and protein from ethylene oxide-sterilized wool than is released in control samples. The conclusion is drawn that C. albicans probably does not possess keratinolytic properties.
