THE CHEMISTRY OF THE FEULGEN REACTION AND RELATED HISTO-CHEMICAL AND CYTOCHEMICAL METHODS

[摘要] A discussion of the chemical reactions involved in the Feulgen nucleal stain, the periodic acid-Schiff stain, and the aldehyde-mordanted basic fuchsin stain. The Feulgen and the periodic acid-Schiff stains can be accepted as specific cytochemical methods, contrary to the aldehyde-mordanted basic fuchsin stain. The 3 stains are useful in study in various skin diseases.
