CELL-FREE PROTEIN SYNTHESIS IN MAMMALIAN SKIN

[摘要] Incorporation of amino acids is dependent upon both ribosomes and a fraction of the cell sap. Nucleoside triphosphates and magnesium are necessary for maximal incorporation. The system differs from that described for other organs since the particulate fraction consists of monomeric ribosomes rather than polysomes while the supernatant fraction cannot be prepared by the usual pH 5 procedure.
