PEROXIDASE ACTIVITY IN NORMAL AND NEOPLASTIC MELANOCYTES

[摘要] Peroxidase activity was demonstrated in normal and neoplastic melanocytes. The presence of peroxidase activity in melanocytes casts doubt on the assumption that the histochemical dopa oxidase reaction reflects melanogenic potential only in peroxidase-negative cells.
