HISTOCHEMICAL DEMONSTRATION OF SECRETORY ACTIVITY IN HUMAN ECCRINE SWEAT GLANDS
[摘要] Acid and alkaline phosphatase were present before and after sweating. No changes in the lipid content were seen with secretory activity in the Feulgen reaction, sulfhydryl stain nor in the toluidine blue stain. The only histochemical change seen in association with glandular activity was a distinct reduction in the glycogen level, at its peak, approx. 15 min. after profuse sweating. Resting in a cool environment resulted in a complete restitution of glycogen.
