INVITRO ACTIVITY OF PARA-HYDROXYBENZOIC ACID ESTERS ON PATHOGENIC FUNGI

[摘要] The antifungal spectrum of the methyl, propyl and butyl esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid against pathogenic fungi was estimated by the serial dilution agar slant method. The lowest effective concentrations ranged from 0.1 mg/ml to 1 mg/ml, or 0.01% -0.1%, respectively.
