REACTION OF CANINE SKIN TO HISTAMINE AND 48/80
[摘要] The canine wheal is different from that of man inasmuch as an axon flare and pruritus are not associated with urtication. A striking histopathologic feature of the canine wheal is the great deposition of fibrin in the edematous interspaces. Degranulation of mast cells can be visualized in sections from wheals produced by the intradermal injection of 48/80. Normal canine skin and mast cells of tumor origin may be useful in degranulation tests of hypersensitivity.
