SEPARATION OF ALCOHOLS OF HUMAN HAIR LIPIDS BY THIN LAYER AND GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY
[摘要] Alcoholic components isolated from the unsaponifiable portion of human hair lipids were submitted to thin-layer chromatography over silica gel G and employing 95% ethanol as developing medium and 5 fractions isolated. Many components were well resolved and little overlapping of branched chain members was apparent. Alcohols were detected in the range of C10 to C30. Sterol occurred in the first 3 fractions of lower mobility.
