A family of cubic fields and zeros of 3-adic L-functions

[摘要] We construct a family of cyclic cubic fields with explicit fundamental units. As an application, we show, assuming Schinzel's hypothesis H, that there are 3-adic L-functions with zeros arbitrarily close to s=1. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
