A NEW CLASS OF THETA-FUNCTION IDENTITIES ORIGINATING IN RAMANUJANS NOTEBOOKS

[摘要] In the unorganized pages of his second notebook, Ramanujan offers two new theta-function identities that have a form different from other identities found in the literature.
