[摘要] Let E(x;r) be the error term in the mean-value estimate of (phi(n)/n)(r), where phi(n) is the Euler totient function, and, is a positive integer. We prove in this paper that E(x;r) = Omega(+/-)((log log x)(r/2)). This generalizes the earlier result of Montgomery. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
