FINITISTIC DIMENSIONS OF SERIAL-LIKE RINGS

[摘要] Bounds are determined for the finitistic dimensions of one-sided almost serial rings in terms of the projective dimensions of the simple modules of finite projective dimension and in terms of the number of the simple modules, and we discuss when the little finitistic dimension and the big finitistic dimension (to be defined below) are equal for some serial-like rings.
