POSITIVELY CURVED MANIFOLDS WITH MAXIMAL SYMMETRY-RANK

[摘要] The symmetry-rank of a riemannian manifold is by definition the rank of its isometry group. We determine precisely which smooth closed manifolds admit a positively curved metric with maximal symmetry-rank.
