TANGENT-CONES AT CURVE AND SURFACE SINGULARITIES

[摘要] Using the notions of the genera and the reduction exponents of ideals, we study conditions under which the associated graded ring G(I) = +n greater-than-or-equal-to 0 I(n)/I(n)+1 of an m-primary ideal I of a given singularity is Cohen-Macaulay or Gorenstein. Especially, for curve and surface singularities of rational or elliptic type, we determine the ideals I for which G(I) are Cohen-Macaulay or Gorenstein.
