PLACES OF DEGREE ONE IN FUNCTION-FIELDS OVER FINITE-FIELDS

[摘要] An algebriac approach to finding an upper bound for the number of places of degree one is presented. In certain cases the bound is better than the Weil bound. A new relation connecting the multiplicities of the places (as zeros of the differentials of first kind) is given.
