CORRELATION OF INTER-ATOMIC PLANES IN CO/PT MULTILAYERS STUDIED BY X-RAY-DIFFRACTION

[摘要] By constructing the inter-atomic correlation function, P(z), we found some new structural features in the Co/Pt multilayers, which are different between the [001] and [111] oriented films, suggesting different nature of the atomic deviation near the interfaces. The results may help understand nature of the magnetic anisotropy in the Co/Pt.
