Magnetocaloric and barocaloric effects in Mn(As0.7Sb0.3)
[摘要] In this paper we theoretically study the magnetocaloric effect and the barocaloric effect in the compound Mn(As0.7Sb0.3). We calculate the magnetocaloric potentials Delta S and Delta T-ad under applied pressure and the barocaloric ones [Delta S](B) and [Delta T-ad](B) at constant magnetic field. Our calculations show that the magnetocaloric potentials and the barocaloric potentials in the studied compound exhibit large values in a wide range of temperatures. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V.
