STRUCTURE AND MAGNETIC-BEHAVIOR IN THE MELT-SPUN PR33FE67 ALLOYS

[摘要] Magnetic and structural properties of melt-spun ribbons of nominal composition Pr(0.33)Fe(0.67)are reported. In the as-spun state the samples have coercivities from 2 up to 2.6 kOe and exhibit a partially crystalline character. A metastable crystalline phase, resembling Pr2Fe17 in symmetry and in size of a unit cell, was found. The thermal stability of that phase is reported and correlated with the thermal behavior of the magnetic hardness of the material.
