Crystal and magnetic structure of TmNiGa
[摘要] A study by neutron diffraction shows that the crystal structure of the TmNiGa compound is orthorhombic with a space-group P-nma and, orders antiferromagnetically with a Neel temperature equal to 5.5 K. The magnetic structure is a transverse amplitude-modulated type along the b-axis. The Tm magnetic moment is parallel to the c-axis with a value of 7.5 +/- 0.4 mu(B) at 1.6 K.
