Use of beam probes for rigidity calibration of the A1900 fragment separator

[摘要] Use of a beam-based approach is presented for establishing a rigidity calibration for the A1900 fragment separator located at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory. Also presented is why an alternative approach to the rigidity calibration - using detailed field maps of individual magnetic components - is not a feasible basis for deriving an accurate calibration.
