STM-imaging of nanostructure dynamics on Ag(111)-experimental challenges and solutions

[摘要] We describe experimental problems arising with the continuous observation of nanostructure dynamics by STM. We discuss the necessity to use a high-speed STM, possibilities to deal with the thermal drift, and tests to rule out the influence of the scanning process on the observation.
