Editorial Commentary: Obese and Overweight: Should They Be Concerned About the Long-Term Consequences of a Partial Meniscectomy?
[摘要] Is obesity associated with inferior outcomes after partial meniscectomies? Recent research using data from the Chondral Lesions and Meniscus Procedures trial could not demonstrate any differences in obese and overweight patients compared with individuals with a normal body mass index. However, the inclusion of multiple confounders, and a short follow-up of only 1 year limit the validity of their study and the results must be viewed with great caution.
