NEW FURANOID DITERPENOIDAL CONSTITUENTS OF TINOSPORA-MALABARICA

[摘要] Two new furanoid diterpenes, malabarolide B-1 (1) and menispermacide, have been isolated from the stems of Tinospora malabarica. Their structures were established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of menispermacide (2) was revised on the basis of single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Menispermacide provides the only known example of the occurrence of disulfide bearing diterpene from higher plants.
