[摘要] The novel alkyllithium 1b is not only intriguingly stable towards fragmentation, but also a synthetically useful reagent, complementing current carboxylic ester enolate methodology. Its design is based on interesting mechanistic principles, and harnesses the known stability of the 2,4,10-trioxaadamantane framework.
