Digital response with femtosecond resolution in an optical AND gate

[摘要] We present a numerical simulation of an all-optical AND logic gate utilising soliton formation in a planar waveguide with a parametric nonlinearity. We investigate switching performance as a function of input logic simultaneity and internal geometry.
