HIGH-EFFICIENCY FEL OSCILLATOR WITH TIME-DEPENDENT MICROWAVE FIELD IN INTERACTION REGION
[摘要] Various schemes of a high efficiency FEL oscillator with time-dependent accelerating (or decelerating) microwave field in interaction region are proposed. All the schemes are based on standard accelerating structure and undulator technology. Feasibility of the proposed schemes is confirmed by results of numerical simulations. Realistic examples of FEL oscillators of infrared and visible wavelength ranges with efficiency about 20% are presented.
