A HIGH-POWER, HIGH-EFFICIENCY, LASER-DIODE-PUMPED, CONTINUOUS WAVE MINIATURE ND GLASS-LASER

[摘要] We report the operation of a Nd:glass laser pumped by a 500 mW broad single stripe laser diode. We have observed a slope efficiency of greater than 30% and an output power of greater than 100 mW when pumping with one diode- The output power increased to greater than 150 mW when two such diodes were used to pump the laser.
