Electromagnetic wave in 2D photonic crystals

[摘要] In this article, we have reviewed recent progresses on the negative refraction and the abnormal transmission of electromagnetic wave in two-dimensional photonic crystals. The physical mechanisms related to these phenomena have been analyzed, and the focusing properties of the point source through the photonic-crystal-based flat lens have been discussed. Recent investigations on the abnormal transmission and Zitterbewegung effect of wave transport near the Dirac point in two-dimensional photonic crystals have also been introduced.
