Effect of SiC particles on crystal growth of Al-Si alloy during laser rapid solidification

[摘要] Rapid solidification microstructures of SiCp/Al-Si composite and the monolithic alloy are comparatively studied through laser remelting process. In the case of composite, particles disturb the orderly arrangement of primary alpha-Al dendrites observed in the base alloy.
