The synthesis and investigation of the DNA binding properties of dielectrophiles incorporating bis-vicinal tricarbonyls

[摘要] A concise and versatile synthesis of bis-vicinal tricarbonyls was developed from readily available diacids or their corresponding diacid chlorides. The bis-tricarbonyls prepared by this method were shown to be effective interstrand DNA cross-linking agents.
